Wildcat football comes to a close

The wildcat’s football season came to an end against Glenbard North on Friday, Oct. 20. Neuqua’s football team started off strong against Glenbard, scoring a touchdown and a successful field goal within the first four minutes of the game. Only letting Glenbard score one touchdown during the first half of the game, the Wildcats pulled ahead with yet another touchdown and field goal before half time began.

Battling through the third quarter, the boys couldn’t stop Glenbard from scoring 7 more points, despite the efforts of the varsity boys. The team intercepted several attempts at advancement by Glenbard, keeping the opposition from scoring any more than 7 points in the fourth quarter. The game ended with a close score of 17-24, Glenbard only prevailing by one touchdown and a field goal.

Throughout the season, the Varsity Wildcats fought hard and completed a successful season. Congratulations on a fantastic season wildcats, and good luck next year!
