Neuqua has decided to create a solution for the problems caused and associated with losing electronic devices. Recently, Neuqua has added an electronic
device registration program which is the first in the Naperville high school area. This program is specially designed for students, teachers and parents to register electronic devices to the school in case the devices are lost or stolen. All electronic devices such as cell phones, iPods, and calculators can be registered in this program. With these devices being so costly, it is highly recommended that everyone registers any electronic device that holds value to them.
The importance of having a registered device at Neuqua is obvious. To file a police report about a stolen device can take days, even weeks! When a device is registered at Neuqua it is already in the system and therefore will be easier to find.
There is a link on the district 204 NVHS website under NVHS Essentials that allows anyone to fill out an easy form and have their electronic device information recorded. The website is secure and is operated by the city of Naperville with access only by the School Resource Officers.
