Year after year, academic resource rooms have stayed the same, previously being home to two or three different subjects in each room. This year, however, each subject is being split up into its respective hallway.
The math room, for example, even though it previously was already in its own respective hallway, has changed locations. Instead of being crammed in with social studies in the same office, the math resource room has been relocated to the lower math hallway in room D105.
In addition, the social studies resource center has been moved to the social studies hallway in room B239. This will be of great help to students with more specific needs.
A large hope for this project is that these separated resource rooms will become more effective as people begin to utilize them on regular occasions.
In addition to the breakup of the rooms, more specific subjects have emerged. Instead of just having one English resource room, the subject has been separated into a reading center and a writing center.
Also, there is a new room specifically assigned for business education help. The specific room officially is now D235
One thing to note is that the size of these rooms is slightly smaller than the previous rooms, a change which should have little impact on the learning process.
