Neuqua Valley’s boys soccer team suffered a loss against the New Trier Trevians.
The final score was 4-0, but the team never lost their spirit. All players from both teams were charged-up and ready to play, and it was easy to see that they were very determined to be victorious. The first goal made by the Trevians was by number 19, Matt Strass. The second was made during the second half, with the
Wildcats still on the Trevians’s tail. The third was made by number 24, Michael Alpogianis, followed by the fourth made by number nine, Kyle McCrudden.
Despite the unfortunate loss, the boys remained calm for the duration of the two halves, and never once lost their tempers. The patience that they displayed throughout the game’s entirety was inspiring to the fans. This soccer season was powerful and exciting to watch, and without a
doubt a great example of the talent that Neuqua possesses on the field, court, and classroom.
The boys entered the field confidently, and left the field with good sportsmanship.
